Daura Gluten Removed IPA (ABV 6.6%) from S.A. Damm is a very hoppy beer, intensely bitter with notes of fresh citrus and ripe fruit. With pale, light-colored malts which are dried and roasted at a low temperature. A beer that pairs perfectly with strong & intense meals.
Daura maintains the flavor of real beers as it is made with the same main ingredient: barley malt. During the manufacturing phase the chain of gluten is broken through a process of enzymatic hydrolyzation and protein precipitation, resulting in a final product that contains under 20 parts per million of gluten. While many people with celiac diseaseseem to be able to tolerate gluten-removed beers, many claim that these beers trigger adverse symptoms. Still, in Europe, these beers are considered gluten-free, and safe for people with celiac disease.
