Green's Gluten Free Tripel Ale (ABV 8.5%), a tripel made without barley, is produced from all gluten free ingredients -- water, millet, buckwheat (soba), brown rice, sorghum, hops, and yeast -- by De Proefbrouwerij in Belgium for Green's in the UK.

Pours clear gold with a frothy white head, and aromas of green apple, lemon, spicy yeast, light grain, and grassy hops. With a fairly light body for a beer of this strength, the taste follows the nose, and the finish is dry.

Food Pairings: Steamed asparagus, artichoke, squash, or other full-flavored, rich vegetables. Excellent with beef dishes or with wild game.

Green's Gluten Free Beers have been brewed in Lochristi, Belgium at DeProef Brewery since 2004. Inspired by strong European beers and developed to a closely guarded secret recipe, these gluten-free beers are brewed with a full body, crisp taste, and a refreshing flavor, losing none of the taste but all of the allergens. Green's Beers are suitable for both Vegetarian and Vegan diets.
