Green's Gluten Free Tripel Ale (ABV 8.5%), a tripel made without barley, is produced from all gluten free ingredients -- water, millet, buckwheat (soba), brown rice, sorghum, hops, and yeast -- by De Proefbrouwerij in Belgium for Green's in the UK.

Pours clear gold with a frothy white head, and aromas of green apple, lemon, spicy yeast, light grain, and grassy hops. With a fairly light body for a beer of this strength, the taste follows the nose, and the finish is dry.

Food Pairings: Steamed asparagus, artichoke, squash, or other full-flavored, rich vegetables. Excellent with beef dishes or with wild game.

Inspired by strong European beers and developed to a closely guarded secret recipe, these gluten-free beers are brewed with a full body, crisp taste, and a refreshing flavor, losing none of the taste but all of the allergens. Best gluten free ever !

The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

We discovered your site at the recommendation of a restaurant manager in South Carolina when we were bemoaning our inability to locate gluten-free Belgian ale. Our first order was intended to sample each of the Greens selections. So far Amber Ale is our favorite but Tripel comes next. Each has been stunning, however, the perfect representation of each category.

Used to be the best gluten free…now in a can?

This was previously bottle conditioned in a glass bottle now it’s in a plastic lined can with forced co2. Not as good for you nor tastes as good! Too bad they had to cut corners.
