Stouts & Porters Virtual Tasting

Join beer writer David Nilsen as he guides us through a 90-minute virtual tasting of Porters and Stouts from both American and Belgian breweries. We’ll trace the history of this family of dark, roasty beers, and taste 6 different unique examples that show their breadth of flavor expressions.

David will explain the history behind each of these beers and the ingredients and processes that make them unique. Along the way, we'll learn about the history and modern variety of these styles and how best to taste and enjoy them. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions along the way and share their own tasting notes on the beers if desired (audience participation is encouraged but not required!)
