Virtual Belgian Beer Tasting

Join beer writer David Nilsen as he guides us through a 90-minute virtual tasting of Belgian ales, comparing and contrasting Belgian- and American-brewed examples in three classic Belgian styles: Witbier, Tripel, and Quadrupel.  David is a full-time beer writer and educator and an Advanced Cicerone. He is an award-winning member of the North American Guild of Beer Writers and the British Guild of Beer Writers.

David will explain the history behind each of these beers and the ingredients and processes that make them unique. Along the way, we'll learn about the history and modern variety of these styles and how best to taste and enjoy them. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions along the way and share their own tasting notes on the beers if desired (audience participation is encouraged but not required!)

Each purchase includes:

- St. Bernardus Wit 11.2 oz can: Belgian Wheat Abbey Pale Ale
- Westmalle Tripel Trappist Ale 11.2 oz: Belgian Golden Strong Abbey Tripel
- La Trappe Trappist Quadrupel 11.2 oz:
Dark Strong Abbey Quadrupel

- Jolly Pumpkin Blanca 12 oz can:

- Allagash Tripel 12 oz bottle: American Belgian-Style Tripel
- Ommegang 3 Philosophers 12 oz: A blend of Quadrupel & Kriek with cherries
