Benediktiner Festbier is your perfect companion for all of Oktoberfest season.  It is a pleasure to drink, thanks to its fine flavor, malty aroma, and intense golden-yellow color.  The aromatic profile of Ettal cellar yeast paired with a soft bitterness from the hops makes Benediktiner Festbier a flavor experience.  It is brewed according to the German Purity Law in Lich Germany.  It uses the original Benedictine recipe for Benediktiner Weissbrau GmbH, Ettal.

Food Pairings:

Roasted meats, sausages, pretzels and cheese.

Klosterbrauerei Ettal is one of the very last remaining authentic German monastic breweries still operated and managed by its "true" owners, the monks of the Holy Rule of St. Benedict. Since 1330 the monastery Kloster Ettal has lived and worked in accordance with the Holy Rule of St.Benedict. Since 1609, the monastery's own businesses - its brewery & distillery, and farming - have provided the funds to sustain its centuries-old buildings, art treasures and educational facilities.
