BFM La Meule 11.2 oz (swing top)

Swiss Golden Ale, Herbal Saison

Brewed by: Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes (BFM)
Country:
Switzerland
Style:
Golden Ale

ABV: 6%
BeerAdvocate.com rating:
84

Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes brewed this hybrid of a golden ale and saison with sage.  It is truly bitter with a subtle bouquet.  La Meule pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a small head and some lacing.  It has an amazingly fresh, herbal kick that will convince you that it needs to be in a class of its own.  Intense herbal aroma of honey, sage, lemongrass, citrus and stone fruit, soft on the palate, balanced and complex.  Long herbal dry finish.

Brewery Information:

BFM (Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes) is a small, artisanal brewery in Saignelégier, Jura, Switzerland, whose products, including barrel-aged beers, have drawn international acclaim.
