Ardennes Tripel, Grand Cru Belgian Style Ale is brewed with Abbey Ale yeast, Pilsner, aromatic, biscuit, and wheat grains, Chinook and East Kent Golding hops, along with light candi syrup. Inspired by the beers brewed by Trappist monks, this golden ale balances refined hop bitterness and delicate ripe fruit. The aroma is reminiscent of bananas, lemons and black pepper. The smooth flavor of apricot and honey has a lingering dry finish. The favorite style of their Brewmaster & Co-Founder, Tripel was the first beer he made as a homebrewer and the recipe is largely the same some 25 years later. It has become a favorite for Belgian-style and Blonde fans, as well as those newer to traditional abbey beers.
