Lake Erie Sunset Wheat is an American Pale Wheat ale infused with blood orange.  Pours a hazy, golden-yellow with a bright citrus aroma.  Drinks light and refreshing with a soft wheat body and has a smooth, slightly tart finish.  This lively wheat ale is named after the scenic views at the Cleveland Collision Bend brewery.  It balances malty wheat with bright juicy fruit notes.

Food Pairings:

Light soups and salads, vegetarian dishes, sushi, Gruyere cheese and feta/goat cheese, sweet and fruity Asian dishes, citrus flavored dishes – including dessert and salad dressings.

Collision Bend Brewing Company was born along the banks of the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland's historic Flats District, housed in the beautifully renovated Hausheer Building - originally built in 1863 as a chandlery supplying Civil War–era merchant ships crossing the Great Lakes.

That same spirit of craftsmanship lives on today under brewmaster Luke Purcell, formerly of Great Lakes Brewing Company, who leads a team crafting a diverse lineup of beers paired with an eclectic, from-scratch menu of shareable plates and wood-fired pizza - many ingredients locally sourced, all evolving with each new batch and season.
