Dragon’s Milk Reserve Triple Mash is an American Imperial stout aged for one year in select bourbon barrels after three separate mashes. The flavors of Dragon’s Milk – chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla and oak – are all amplified in a way that still allows for balance and refinement to shine through. It pours so dark you can barely see through it with a slim tan head. Nose is very boozy with dark malt and roasted coffee. Taste is thick, bitter and sweet. Molasses towards the end, followed by warmth.

It all started when two friends in Michigan believed that their hometown and the brewing industry were due for a shakeup. Brett VanderKamp and Jason Spaulding grew up together in Midland, Michigan, and later attended Hope College. There, Spaulding and VanderKamp cultivated a love of homebrewing, which would bring them together again shortly after graduation. Their business plan took two years to formulate, and, in 1997, New Holland Brewing Company was born in Holland, Michigan near the shores of Lake Michigan.

Today, New Holland is recognized as one of the leading innovators in American craft brewing and distilling. With nearly 400 team members, New Holland’s craft beer and spirits are sold across the country and around the globe.
