•  Wipers Times Blond (ABV 6.2%) Award-winning golden amber ale, brewed with 4 grains and finished with 4 herbs. Aromas of mango and apricot in the nose. Coriander and orange peel in the taste.
•  Wipers Times Dubbel (ABV 6.5%) Brown ale with refreshing spice aromas of star anise and clove which complement the fruitiness of apple and orange blossom. Roasted caramel ensures a sublime, nutty finish.
•  Wipers Times Tripel (ABV 8.2%) Blond ale, brewed with 4 grains and finished with 4 herbs. Aromas of citrus and lime in the nose. Velvety-soft vanilla and sweet honey in the taste.

Includes two Blond, one Dubbel and one Tripel, all in 11.2 oz bottles, along with a 33 cl Kazematten “Wipers Times” goblet. A great gift for the beer lover in your life!

Brewery Information:

Kazematten Brewery is the brainchild of Hans Depypere (St. Bernardus Brewery CEO) and Rudi Ghequire (Rodenbach Brewery’s master brewer and brand ambassador). Hans had dreamt about starting a microbrewery for years, and his quest for the perfect location had been a long and difficult one. It was Rudi Ghequire – one of Hans’ closest friends – who drew his attention to a unique location: the casemates of Ypres. At the instigation of both beer-brewing families, Kazematten was born. 

Koen Hugelier and Rudi Ghequire brewed the first batch of their Wipers Times Blond in 2013. (Rudi recalls it as one of the happiest days of his career as a brewer.) Hugelier has personally brewed every drop of beer ever since. After the beer has been allowed to rest sufficiently in the lager tanks, it is transported in tanks to St. Bernardus Brewery where it is bottled. 

Today, their children, Julie Depypere and Maarten Ghequire, steer the family business. And Wipers Times Blond – their flagship ale – has won awards at many international beer competitions, including a gold medal at The World Beer Awards in 2021, where it was crowned “Country Winner” and also voted as “Best Belgian-Style Blond”.
