Lindemans Strawberry Lambic (ABV 4.1%) is the first new fruited lambic from Lindemans in over a decade. According to the brewery, choosing strawberry was easy: the complex sweetness of the fruit matches perfectly with the sourness of lambic, resulting in a unique balanced marriage of sweet and sour.

Pours a beautiful rosy color, with a velvety off-white head, active carbonation, and the aroma of luscious, ripe strawberries. Complex, captivating strawberry flavor features delicate sweetness balanced by traditional lambic tartness in the finish. 25.4 oz bottle.

Food Pairings

Brie cheese, Maine lobster, barramundi/Asian sea bass, Bayonne ham, Balsamic vinegar salad, rosemary crusted lamb chops, candied almonds, sugared strawberries with fresh basil, mascarpone cookies or tiramisu, chocolate truffles, cheesecake, Pavlova, and meringue. Serve at 45 °F in flute-shaped Lambic glass.

Brewery Information:

Lindemans Brewery, initially a family farm in southwest Brussels, began commercial brewing operations in 1822. They specialized in Lambics – a unique style of wheat beer wholly dependent on wild airborne yeasts for fermentation as well as on an exceptionally long period of maturation up to 3 years.

Over time, brewery revenue gradually outpaced farming revenue and by 1930, the Lindemans family was able to cease farming operations altogether to concentrate fully on the brew business.

Today the brewery, still family owned, exports its award winning ales to a dozen countries including the US, where their ales outsell all other Lambics.
