Weltenburger Kloster Hell (ABV 4.9%) is a classic Helles – the epitome of the Bavarian way of life. Pours a clear golden straw color. Smells of sweet bread, yeast, and just a touch of spicy noble hops. Taste follows perfectly with a subtle presence of each element. Its mouthfeel is crisp with nice carbonation – dry and inviting enough to constantly demand another sip. An outstanding Helles lager – sessionable during all seasons! 16.9 oz can.

Weltenburg Abbey (Kloster Weltenburg): Weltenburg, Germany
Weltenburg Abbey is a Benedictine monastery in Weltenburg near Kelheim on the Danube in Bavaria, Germany. According to tradition, the abbey was founded in about 617 and is the oldest monastery in Bavaria, adopting the Benedictine Rule in the early 8th century. Besides the traditional duties of hospitality, the abbey has pastoral responsibility for two parishes. It is also active in farming and in adult education. It hosts conferences and lectures as well as concerts. Weltenburg Abbey brewery (Weltenburger Klosterbrauerei) is by some reckonings the oldest monastic brewery in the world, having been in operation since 1050 (although the title is disputed by Weihenstephan Abbey).
